Transit Oriented Development
Client: City of Nashua, New
Hampshire
RKG recently completed a project in Nashua,
New Hampshire developing a long-term
neighborhood master plan for the East Hollis Street area. This part of the
City currently includes a mix of older residential, commercial and
industrial uses that will be impacted if the planned extension of commuter
rail service to Boston is implemented. A transit station in the neighborhood
would create demand for new housing and commercial uses and serve as a
catalyst for future growth. RKG teamed with the land planning firm
VonGrossmann & Company of Boston to provide market and property data along
with fiscal and economic impact analysis for this exciting project
undertaken for the Nashua Planning Department.
